An exciting and attractive evergreen shrub, the Brachyglottis ‘Silver Dormouse’ is a beautiful cultivar that would fit nicely into any display, providing an excellent base for some more colourful plant and, in the Summer, providing some colour of its own with loose clusters of bright yellow, daisy-like flowers appearing above the fuzzy, silver-green leaves. A compact shrub which works well for coastal border planting or as a specimen plant.
Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Year-round foliage is reasonably resilient though it can be susceptible to harsh frost and cold winds so some fleece or mulch should be considered for these conditions.

Brachyglottis thrives in the warmth of full sun in light, well-draining soil. Add some organic matter into the soil and position the plant carefully before backfilling, firming in gently as you go. Water in well. Leave around 1m between plants.
