Cordyline ‘Pink Passion’ sometimes known as Cabbage Palm is a stunning an exotic variety with large, lance-shaped, arching purple leaves with deep pink margins and may produce clusters of tiny, scented, cream-white flower in the late Spring through to the Summer. An evergreen plant, this cordyline will provide year-round interest and can be used as a decorative container plant or as part of a bed or border.
Plant in moist, well-drained soil and keep in full or partial sun. Grows best in a warm, sheltered position indoors under glass. If planting outdoors requires mulching, shelter and protection from frost.

9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

How to Water
Water regularly during the first growing season. After this, cordylines are relatively drought tolerant and only need to be watered during particularly dry spells.
How to Plant
Plant cordylines in the ground or in containers in a spot that enjoys full sun or partial shade with moist but well-draining soil. Enrich the soil with well-rotted organic matter and dig a hole around twice as wide as the root ball. Position the plant so the top of the root ball is at soil level then backfill with soil and compost, gently firm down, and water in well.
