Product description
Passiflora Damsel’s Delight is an excellent vigorous evergreen to a semi-evergreen shrub that produces really delightful passion flowers. This spectacular climbing vine clings to other host plants or support using its tendrils. Also known as the ‘Silly Cow’, this climber is popular for its unusually stunning flowers that bloom throughout the summer. It creates a very decorative colourful display when planted as a groundcover or along the walls
Damsel’s Delight produces gorgeous large flowers that have lilac purple filaments positioned like a crown around white corollas with hints of lilac. The centre of the flower is lit with contrast created by striking white petals. When combined with glossy and lobed dark green leaves, these passion flowers create a wonderful display that is quite hypnotising. Above all, the flowers of Damsel’s Delight are scented that last for several months
Passion Flower vine is well suited to sunny locations or partial shady spots. This shrub is evergreen in mild winter regions and semi-evergreen in the harsh ones. It thrives in a moist and well-drained soil planted in a sheltered spot
One can grow them in large containers with some support provided for climbing otherwise the plant will trail around sides. It will reach a height of 6 metres at maturity and will require occasional pruning and clean up. Deadheading the faded flowers will encourage new blooms in the same season
Grow your Passiflora plant along walls and trellises, or simply raise one in a garden pot. It makes great garden borders along walls and perfect groundcover, as long as its vigorous growth is kept in control.
Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Instructions
Top Tip
Passiflora vines benefit from regular pruning to control growth and promote stronger blooming.
How to Water
Water Passiflora regularly, ensuring the soil is kept moist but not soggy. Avoid overwatering, as this can cause root rot. Water more frequently during hot weather, but let the soil dry slightly between waterings.
How to Plant
Plant Passiflora in well-draining soil with plenty of sunlight. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball and place the plant at soil level. Space plants 90-120cm apart to allow for growth, and provide a trellis or support for the vines to climb.
