Product description
Trachelospermum jasminoides Star of Toscana is an evergreen climbing shrub. Its green leaves are present all-year-round and accompany creamy, star-shaped lowers when they bloom in Summer. Each flower eventually matures to a soft yellow shade, whilst also giving off an irresistible, jasmine-like scent. This variety will easily cover any plain/unsightly wall or fence, as well as brighten up a border, pot, container, patio or porch display.
Not only will this hardy plant withstand tough weather conditions, it will also be hassle-free to care for. Simply place it in full sun or partial shade, it will tolerate almost any soil type and will only require water when the soil is dry to touch, carrying out this task so the soil is left moist and well-drained.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may, therefore, differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. This plant will be supplied in a growers pot.
Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Prune Trachelospermum lightly after flowering to control its shape and encourage new growth. Use it as a fragrant climber for walls, fences, or pergolas, adding elegance and scent to your garden.
How to Water
Water Trachelospermum regularly during the first year to establish roots, keeping the soil evenly moist. Once established, water during dry periods. Avoid overwatering, as it prefers slightly dry conditions between waterings.
How to Plant
Choose a sunny or partially shaded spot with well-draining soil. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball, place the plant, and backfill with soil. Water thoroughly after planting. Provide a support structure like a trellis for climbing and space plants 90-180cm apart.
