Product description

The ‘Pink Crispy’ Photinia variety is a visually distinctive addiction to your garden or patio, with foliage that first emerges in a soft pink, then turns to a green with cream-coloured marbled variegation. Evergreen and compact, it’s a great choice for a patio plant or a garden that is a bit on the smaller side. You can expect the plant to release new white-coloured flowers in late spring / early summer. The clusters of flowers will be followed by small, round red fruit.

Your Photinia will reach a maximum height of 6ft (175cm), and maximum width of 3ft (100cm). A low to no maintenance choice, it’ll only require an annual pruning in Spring to keep the shape tidy.

Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only - The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.

Instructions

Top Tip

Photinia benefits from annual pruning to maintain a dense, attractive shape and encourage vibrant red growth in spring.

How to Water

Water Photinia regularly, especially during dry periods. Keep the soil moist but well-drained. Once established, reduce watering frequency as they are relatively drought-tolerant.

How to Plant

Plant Photinia in well-drained soil, ideally in full sun or partial shade. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball, place the plant in the hole, and backfill with soil. Water thoroughly after planting, ensuring the soil is well settled around the roots.
