Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: A hardy deciduous climber with dark green foliage and deep purple flowers.
Growth and spread: Can grow to an ultimate height of 1.5-2.5m and an ultimate spread of 1-1.5m.
Period of interest: Fresh, new spring leaves are accompanied in midsummer by deep purple flowers, almost black in appearance when newly opened, which bloom until early autumn.
Water and maintenance: Plant in full sun or partial shade, keeping the roots cool and shaded. Will tolerate most soil types as long as it is kept moist and well-drained.
Clematis ‘Romantika’ is a beautiful perennial climber with dark green, deciduous foliage peppered with mesmerising deep plum-coloured flowers. The velvety purple flowers are offset by bright yellow anthers, illuminating the stunning floral display. The plant is deciduous and so will lose its leaves over the winter months and can be pruned back in early spring ready for fresh new foliage and another summer of show-stopping flowers.
Growing to an ultimate height of 1.5-2.5m and an ultimate spread of 1-1.5m, Clematis ‘Romantika’ is perfect for trellises, walls, fences, pergolas and more. This is also an excellent choice for combining with other climbers, although it will also grow well in a pot.
