Kalmia latifolia Bumblebee, known commonly as Calico Bush or Mountain Laurel, is a striking evergreen shrub with dense, glossy, dark-green foliage. From May to July, this variety produces large clusters of distinctive cup shaped, white flowers, with deep red centres and markings.
Plant in a position with partial shade. Grow in fertile, moist, well-drained, acidic soil. Ideal plant for the back of beds or borders, or as a feature plant in an informal garden.

How to Plant
Plant Kalmia in acidic, well-drained soil with partial shade. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball and slightly shallower than its height. Place the plant, backfill with soil, and water thoroughly. Mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
