Product description
Aubrieta Spring Falls produces low-growing spring flowers in an array of red, blue, and purple hues. The small flowers cover the plant and are bursting with pollen and nectar, making them irresistible to early bees and butterflies. Aubrieta is a popular perennial for rockeries and border edges but also looks amazing spilling over walls and pots.
These spring flowering seeds are easy to grow and don’t take much maintenance once established. Plant in full sun in well-draining, alkaline to neutral soil. Prune after flowering to encourage a second flush of colour and prevent the plant from growing leggy.
Sow Aubrieta seeds indoors from February to March or directly outdoors in April. Harden seedlings gradually and plant out from August to September allowing 10cm between plants. Blooms from March to June the following year.
