Product description
Ideal for beds and borders, Bells of Ireland is a striking annual boasting tall spikes of pink to white flowers snuggled inside pale green cup-shaped calyx. Bells of Ireland blooms from July to September and is a popular choice for adding greenery to flower arrangements. The stems also make excellent dried flowers.
Chill seeds in the fridge for 2 weeks before sowing into pots or trays under glass from March to April. Thin out when the seedlings are large enough to handle. Acclimatise the plants gradually and plant out from May, when the risk of frost has passed. Allow 25cm between plants and grow Bells of Ireland in a sheltered, sunny spot in moist but well-draining soil.
