Product description

Eschscholzia Mission Bells is a charming Californian Poppy variety, producing masses of cheerful, white, red, yellow, and pink blooms from July to September. These brightly coloured flowers are perfect for enhancing beds and borders and grow well in patio pots. Mission Bells is easy to grow and is a magnet for pollinators, enticing bees and butterflies into the garden.

Sow Eschscholzia Mission Bells seeds directly thinly in the flowering site, 1cm deep and in drills 15cm apart. Germination generally takes 14-21 days and when the seedlings are large enough to handle, they can be thinned out to prevent overcrowding. Choose a spot in full sun in well-draining soil and allow 15cm between plants. Water Californian Poppies regularly until they are firmly established and become drought tolerant. Deadhead spent blooms to promote further flowering and prevent self-seeding.
