Product description

Also known as Plain Parsley or Flat Parsley, French Parsley is a versatile herb that can be grown in the garden or on the kitchen windowsill. Dark-green, toothed leaves make this an attractive addition to any herb garden. French Parsley is more flavoursome than other varieties and is used to add interest to soups, stews, and sauces. It can also be used in salads and its foliage makes an attractive garnish.

Grow French Parsley seeds in full sun or partial shade in moist but well-draining soil. Water regularly during dry spells and move outdoor plants into the greenhouse if you wish to continue harvesting leaves in winter. Flat Parsley is a low maintenance herb that is easy to grow and care for. It does well in the ground but is equally happy growing in pots or containers.

Sow indoors from March to April or directly outside from May to September. Plant out from May, when the risk of frost has passed and allow 25cm between plants. Harvest from June to October.
