Product description

New Day Tiger Stripes is a cheerful Gazania variety producing long-lasting daisy-like flowers in shades of yellow, red, bronze, pink, and creamy-white all summer long. As the name suggests, the petals are striped with contrasting colours, creating an eye-catching display. These blooms are a magnet for pollinators, enticing bees and butterflies into the garden.

Sow Gazania seeds in trays from January to March and store at 20-23C. When the seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into pots and acclimatise gradually before planting outside from early June, when all risk of frost has passed. Choose a sheltered spot in full sun in moist but well-draining soil and allow 30cm between plants. Water Treasure Flowers regularly until they are firmly established and deadhead spent blooms to promote further flowering.
