Product description
Formerly known as Godetia, Clarkia is an easy to grow annual that flowers all summer long. This Azalea Flowered variety boasts a mix of semi-double and fully double blooms with wavy, ruffled petals in various shades of red, pink, and white. These elegant flowers flourish from July to September and are irresistible to pollinators, enticing bees and butterflies into the garden.
Choose a spot in full sun in well-draining soil and remove all weeds. Scatter Satin Flower seeds directly into the flowering site at 1.5cm deep from March to June. Regular sowings every 2-3 weeks ensures continuous flowers throughout the season. When the seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them out leaving 20cm between plants. Water Clarkia plants regularly until they are firmly established and deadhead spent blooms to promote further flowering.
