Formerly known as Godetia, Clarkia is an easy to grow annual that flowers all summer long. This Dream Double variety produces an abundance of fully double blooms with wavy, ruffled petals in various shades of red and pink. These showy flowers flourish from July to August and are irresistible to pollinators, enticing bees and butterflies into the garden.

Choose a spot in full sun in well-draining soil and remove all weeds. Scatter Satin Flower seeds directly into the flowering site at 1.5cm deep from March to May. Regular sowings every 2-3 weeks ensures continuous flowers throughout the season. When the seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them out leaving 20cm between plants. Water these outdoor plants regularly until they are firmly established and deadhead spent blooms to promote further flowering.
