Product description

Ideal for autumnal home décor, these Ornamental Gourd seeds have been carefully selected to produce an attractive display in an assortment of sizes, shapes, and colours. The plants grow with a trailing habit and are ready to harvest from July to the first frosts. Mature fruits can be stored in a warm, dry place for up to 5 months. However, for display purposes, they should be varnished to ensure longevity.

Choose a spot in full sun in rich, moist but well-draining soil and remove all weeds. Sow Gourd seeds directly into the growing site from late May. Alternatively, sow under glass from April, storing at 21C. When the seedlings are large enough to handle and the risk of frost has passed, plant them out leaving 100cm between plants. Water these Gourd plants regularly, ensuring the soil never fully dries out.

Please Note: The image(s) shown are for illustrative purposes only. The listed number of seeds is an approximate value and packet size may vary slightly. These fruits are not edible.
