Product description
Better known as Baby’s Breath, Gypsophila Covent Garden is an elegant addition to beds, borders, and containers. It boasts lacy grey-green foliage and slim stems bearing small, delicate pure-white flowers from June to August. These blooms are a magnet for pollinators, enticing bees and butterflies into the garden.
Choose a spot in full sun in well-draining alkaline to neutral soil and remove all weeds. Sow Gypsophila seeds directly into the growing site from late March to June for flowering in the first year or from September to October for the following year. When the seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them out leaving 20-30cm between plants. Water Baby’s Breath regularly, but ensure the soil never becomes waterlogged.
