Product description

Better known as Busy Lizzies, these Impatiens Beacon Select Mixed F1 seeds produce an eye-catching show of summer flowers from June right through to September. This variety has been cultivated with disease-resistance in mind and is much more resilient to downy mildew than other varieties.

Lush dark green foliage creates the perfect base for the masses of pink, red, and white flowers that cover the plant throughout the summer months. Perfect for brightening borders, Busy Lizzie also grows well in containers and is a popular choice for patio pots and hanging baskets.

Sow Hollyhock seeds in trays and store in a propagator or warm place at 20-25C. When the seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into pots before hardening off gradually and planting outside from June to August, after the risk of frost has passed. Choose a spot in full sun or partial shade in moist but well-draining soil. Feed and water routinely, ensuring the soil remains moist but never becomes waterlogged. Remove spent blooms and yellowing foliage regularly to keep the plant looking its best and prolong the flowering period.
