Lagerstroemia Ruffled Red Magic, otherwise known as Crape Myrtle, is a stunning, deciduous shrub with compact, bushy foliage. In Spring, new leaves appear with a red tint, before maturing to a true green in Summer. From July, this Crape Myrtle produces several clusters of ruffled-look, vibrant red flowers.
Plant in a position with full sun. Grow in an average, moist, well-drained soil. This shrub can bloom twice in Summer, if the first flowers are deadheaded. Well suited as a feature plant in a bed, border or informal garden.
