Product description
A popular French Marigold variety, these Durango mixed flower seeds produce an eye-catching show of bright yellow, orange, and red flowers from June through to October. The seeds are easy to grow in beds borders, or pots, and the plants have a compact, bushy growing habit with deeply divided foliage complementing the flowers beautifully. The long-lasting blooms are a magnet for pollinators, turning your garden into a haven for bees and butterflies.
Sow Marigold seeds in pots or trays from February to April and keep in a propagator or warm place at 21-25C. When the seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into pots and gradually harden them off. Choose a spot in full sun in well-draining soil and plant the seedlings out, leaving 30cm between plants. Water Marigolds routinely, particularly during dry spells but ensure the soil never becomes waterlogged. Remove spent blooms regularly to keep the plant looking its best and prolong the flowering period.
