Product description

Parahebe Avalanche is a perennial plant that has a compact, mat-forming habit. It will make for a standout addition to the garden because of its white petals, green centre circle and eye-catching purple ring around that. The plants evergreen foliage is a bright green shade that forms neatly in and around the flowers. The period of interest is June - September, with full sun to partial shade in Summer being the ideal conditions for the best results. When watering, do so throughout the growing season, whilst also ensuring the soil remains moist and well-drained. You should also deadhead regularly and cut the plant back after it flowers.

Instructions

Top Tip

Trim Parahebe after flowering to encourage new growth and maintain a compact shape.

How to Water

Water Parahebe regularly during its first growing season to establish roots, ensuring the soil remains moist but not waterlogged. Once established, it is drought-tolerant but benefits from occasional watering in prolonged dry periods.

How to Plant

Plant Parahebe in well-draining, moderately fertile soil in a sunny or partially shaded location. Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball, place the plant, and backfill with soil. Space plants adequately to allow for spreading, and add mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
