Ideal for placing underneath swings, slides and other children’s play equipment, Rolawn ® Play Grade Bark Chippings are made of pine bark and tested to BS EN 1177:2018 regarding impact absorption. The recommended installation depth for play areas is 300mm at a critical fall height of up to 3m.

The versatile bark can also be used for garden landscaping. It makes an attractive decorative mulch for suppressing weeds, retaining moisture in the soil, and protecting plant roots against freezing temperatures. The recommended installation depth for mulch is 50mm.

The reddish-brown pine chippings have a consistent appearance with a 8-25mm particle size. They are easy to barrow and rake out and have a maximum white wood content of 5%.
