Product description

Rosemary is an attractive shrubby evergreen plant that adds year-round interest to borders and herb gardens. It boasts aromatic, needle-like dark-green foliage and, from mid-spring to early summer, is decorated with lilac-blue and white flowers.

Bursting with antioxidants, iron, calcium and vitamin B6, Rosemary has lots of culinary uses. It complements lamb and chicken dishes particularly well and can be used to add flavour to soups, stews, casseroles, potatoes, and salads.

Grow Rosemary in well-draining soil in a sheltered, sunny spot. This low maintenance garden herb is easy to look after and thrives in the ground or in pots and containers. Harvesting regularly promotes fresh new growth and allows the herb to be used as fresh as possible, retaining the best flavour.

Sow Rosemary seeds indoors from February or directly outside from April. Plant out from May, when the risk of frost has passed and allow 60cm between rows. Harvest throughout the year.
