Product description
Acorus 'Golden Edge' is a Dwarf Sedge sometimes known as Japanese Rush or Sweet Flag and is a low growing perennial grass with bright yellow-green foliage that is sometimes scented and a lovely mounded habit that makes great ground cover for the garden. This plant is especially interesting due to its preferred habitat, thriving in damp and watery areas even growing in some naturally occurring shallow water areas such as shallow ponds or marsh areas.
Plant in moist, well-drained soils and keep in full or partial sun. 'Golden Edge' Can survive in slightly drier soils but risks the damage to the leaves which is visible as the browning of the edges. This grass will grow best in a near or in small ponds partially submerged in the water.

Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.
