Product description
A bright, summer perennial with interesting foliage and softly coloured flowers. The Agapanthus 'Silver Moon' is a variety of African Lily and clump-forming, herbaceous perennial shrub with mounded foliage consisting of mid-green, strap-like leaves with striped variegation of cream-yellow. Tall, slender stalks appear above the foliage carrying rounded panicles of trumpet-shaped lavender-blue flowers from around mid-Summer. A somewhat compact variety perfect for small flower beds or container planting.
Plant in moist, fertile, well-drained soils and keep in full sun in a sheltered position. Can be planted outside in temperate regions but container planting is advised to avoid harsh Winter by moving under glass. Mulching and other forms of frost protection are recommended if planting outdoors.

Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.
