Product description

This ten pack of Alyssum Clear Crystal White bedding plants will bring a gorgeous array of large, white flowers into the garden to create stunning displays within flower beds. They possess an elegance about their look, with each scented flower coming together in a clustered manner, contrasting extremely well against the lush, green foliage that is present below. These can be planted in Spring, but tend to fade in warmer periods, therefore seeing them bloom once more in Autumn and Winter. They can be planted straight from the tray upon arrival, flourishing with ease when given the correct care.

When planting these gorgeous Alyssum plants, moist, well-drained soil should be present, as well as keeping them placed in full sunlight for a sustained period of time. You should always water these plants using one inch as standard every week, with this rate being most important during warmer times of year.

Instructions

Top Tip

Deadhead spent flowers to encourage a second flush of blooms and keep the display looking fresh. Alyssum is loved for its sweet scent and is highly attractive to pollinators—ideal for adding both colour and fragrance to beds, borders, and containers.

How to Water

Water Alyssum regularly during dry spells, especially while plants are settling in. They prefer consistently moist soil but can tolerate short dry periods once established. Avoid waterlogging the soil, particularly in cooler conditions, to keep roots healthy and flowering continuous.

How to Plant

Plant Alyssum in well-drained soil in a sunny or lightly shaded location. Ideal for bedding schemes, edging, or filling gaps between paving, these low-growing plants form neat mounds covered in clusters of tiny, fragrant flowers. Space them around 15cm apart for a dense, carpet-like display.
