Product description

An interesting woody-based perennial shrub with medium-sized flowers blooming intermittently from Summer through to Autumn and contrasting nicely with the darker foliage. The Anemone 'Ruffled Swan' carries oval, toothed dark green leaves which acts as a great backdrop for the semi-double blooms growing throughout the foliage on branching stems, with the flower's white petals bearing violet-blue on their reverse side.

Plant in moist, fertile, well-drained soils and keep in full or partial sunlight. Avoid poorly drained and wet soils, especially in Winter as these may cause root damage.

Please Note: Images are for illustrative purposes only and designed to be a representation of the item(s) being sold. Herbaceous plants die back below the soil in the Winter and may be supplied in their dormant state during this time. Fresh growth will be seen the following Spring.

Instructions

Top Tip

Don’t be concerned if your anemone appears to die back at the end of the growing season. This is perfectly normal, and it will flower just as prolifically the following year.

How to Water

Water thoroughly when planting then moderately until established. After this, anemones only need to be watered during particularly dry spells. Take care not to over-water.

How to Plant

Position anemones in full sun or partial shade in moist but well-draining soil. Plant as soon as possible after buying and water in well.
