Product description
Asplenium scolopendrium are hardy, evergreen ferns that are slow growing and compact in height. Known as 'hart’s tongue fern', Aspleniums form a rosette-like shape with upright, tongue-like foliage and green and leathery fronds. This plant is a good choice for shaded borders, underplanting or groundcover.
Plant in moist, well drained soil. Keep in partial or full shade. Prefers a humus-rich, neutral to alkaline soil. Direct sun may cause scorch damage to this plant.

Top Tip
Direct water towards the soil rather than the fronds to help prevent root rot.
How to Water
Water well for the first year. After this asplenium is relatively drought tolerant.
How to Plant
Plant asplenium in full shade or partial shade in moist but well-draining soil. Dig in plenty of garden compost before planting to give the soil a boost of nutrients and help hold in moisture.
