Product description

Azalea Pleasant white is a dwarf evergreen shrub, perfect for adding some brightness to beds and borders. Glossy, dark green leaves which remain all year provide an eye-catching contrast for ruffled, pure white, funnel-shaped flowers which bloom from late spring and into early summer.

Plant Azalea Pleasant White in moist, well-drained, acidic soil such as clay, loam or sand. It will grow best in a slightly shaded area of the garden. This plant is an excellent choice for bedding and borders, especially for filling in gaps.

Instructions

Top Tip

Prune azaleas after blooming to maintain shape and encourage better growth for the next season. Avoid cutting into old wood, as it may not regrow, and focus on removing dead or damaged branches.

How to Water

Water azaleas regularly to keep the soil consistently moist, especially during dry spells. Avoid overwatering, as they prefer well-drained soil. Water at the base, not on the leaves, and mulch to help retain moisture and reduce watering needs.

How to Plant

Choose a partially sunny or shaded spot with acidic, well-draining soil. Dig a hole slightly wider and as deep as the root ball. Place the azalea, keeping the root ball level with the soil surface. Backfill, firm gently, and water thoroughly. Mulch to retain moisture and keep roots cool.
