Product description

This Apricot Shades collection of trailing Begonia plants bring a wonderful mix of orange, amber and lemon coloured blooms to the garden. They reach their peak in Summer, when all the beautiful colour comes to the fore, surrounded by a great contrast of dark green foliage. Whilst these arrive in 10cm pots, this mix of Begonias would also be great as trailing Begonias for hanging baskets.

Begonias are a simple plant to care for. They are fine with sunny areas, but also enjoy being used as plants for shade, to brighten up those less lively sections. Water the plants when the top soil is dry to touch so the flowers can provide peak growth.

Please Note: Images are for illustrative purposes only and designed to be a representation of the item(s) being sold. Depending on seasonality, deciduous plants may be supplied in their dormant state and without leaves. Plants may also be pruned back, lower than stated heights, to encourage new growth.

Instructions

Top Tip

Avoid planting begonias in full sun to prevent leaf scorch.

How to Water

Water generously and regularly, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings.

How to Plant

Plant begonias in partial shade in fertile, moist but well-draining soil. Space plants evenly to allow growth. Gently remove the plant from the pot, place it in the hole at the same depth as in the container, backfill with soil, and water thoroughly. Begonias are easy to grow in pots and containers as well as in the ground.
