This plant boasts dense deciduous foliage with elongated bright green leaves that last throughout summer. From August, this variety produces abundant crops of large firm blueberries, the berries of 'Denise Blue' are quite aromatic with a sweet-acid taste, like other blueberry varieties they are commonly used in cooking and for making jams and sweets. This plant prefers an open, sunny position with acidic, well drained soil. These bushes are self-pollinating but planting in groups will provide a higher yield of fruit.
