Product description
Butterfly Tower Buddleias are a versatile, attractive shrub. They are smaller and easier to maintain than their sister varieties, making them ideal for gardens with limited space. The fully hardy perennial can withstand low temperatures and blooms every year, making it a fantastic choice for any beginner - or advanced! - gardener’s palette.
This pollinator magnet is generally tolerant and will thrive in any fertile, moist and well-drained garden soil, but ideally it is best to avoid soils that become heavy and compacted or retain a high amount of water in the winter. Make sure to keep your newly-planted butterfly bush watered whilst it grows (approximately a year).
The vibrant purple pink blossoms are loved by butterflies, bees, bumblebees and other pollinators, and its conical clusters of flowers will be a beautiful, fragrant addition to your garden from summer through autumn.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may, therefore, differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. This plant will be supplied in a growers pot.
Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

How to Water
Water young plants regularly for the first year or so until they are fully established. After this, buddleias should only need to be watered during particularly dry spells.
How to Plant
For the best show of flowers, plant buddleia in a sheltered spot in full sun. Ensure the soil drains well and dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball. Dig in some garden compost and position the plant, placing the top of the root ball just below soil level. Backfill with soil and compost and water in well.
