Product description

Coreopsis Little Bang Daybreak is a perennial outdoor plant with mounds of bright green, deciduous foliage, topped with masses of daisy-like flowers with fiery red petals, fading out to golden yellow around the edges. Flowers bloom for the whole summer, creating a vibrant and eye-catching floral display.

Plant Coreopsis Little Bang Daybreak in moist, well-drained soil in a sunny or partially shaded spot in the garden. This is a relatively drought tolerant plant and so will tolerate any drier spells of weather. An excellent choice for a garden bed or a garden border to add a splash of colour, although they would look equally as great in a plant pot on the patio.

Please Note: Images are for illustrative purposes only and designed to be a representation of the item(s) being sold. Depending on seasonality, deciduous plants may be supplied in their dormant state and without leaves. Plants may also be pruned back, lower than stated heights, to encourage new growth.

Instructions

Top Tip

Deadhead spent blooms regularly to encourage further flowering.

How to Water

Water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist but not saturated.

How to Plant

Wait until the risk of frost has passed and plant coreopsis in full sun or partial shade in moist but well-draining soil. Enrich the soil with well-rotted organic matter and dig a hole around twice as wide as the root ball. Position the plant so the top of the root ball is at soil level then backfill with soil and compost, gently firm down, and water in well. Leave 40-50cm between plants.
