The charming Japanese Vilmoriniana is a bushy, evergreen conifer. It forms a dense structure of green, needle like foliage that turns into a stunning red/purple colour in the winter months. This is a shrub that suits a variety of planting locations, garden types and planting schemes. it enjoys the sun, but needs shelter, especially in the winter.
This lovely shrub enjoys the sun but needs protection from the wind, suiting it best to a shaded area. It should be planted in moist, well drained soil. It does not require any pruning, making it exceptionally easy to grow.
