Product description

Our Potted Cyclamens are gorgeous, tuberous perennial plants. They are late bloomers, producing their colourful flowers in Winter, right through to Spring. The deciduous, green and silver marked foliage will contrast very well against the blooms. They will appear on long, upright stems that allows the large flowerheads to stand out very easily. Expect less eye-catching colour in Summer - this is the plants dormant stage, largely due to the rise in temperature.

When caring for this plant, it will prefer being placed in full sun or partial shade. The soil should always remain moist and well-drained, whilst ensuring you don't overwater the plant as the tubers will rot if given too much. It is best to wait until the soil is dry to touch before giving it more water. You can purchase these Cyclamens in amounts of 3, 6 or 12 potted plants.

Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may, therefore, differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. This plant will be supplied in a grower’s pot.

Instructions

Top Tip

Avoid direct sun and overwatering. Cyclamen thrive in cool, shaded environments, making them ideal for woodland gardens or indoor settings with indirect light.

How to Water

Water Cyclamen sparingly, ensuring the soil is moist but never soggy. Reduce watering during the dormant summer period. Always water around the base to keep leaves and tubers dry, preventing rot and fungal issues.

How to Plant

Plant Cyclamen tubers in well-draining soil, placing them in partial shade. Position the tuber with the top side facing up, just below the soil surface. Space plants about 15-20cm apart. Add organic matter to the soil to enrich it, and avoid over-burial to promote healthy growth.
