These unusually large flowers are borne above low, bushy mounds of grass like foliage from late spring throughout summer until October. The flowers fade to a darker eye and masses of multiple large blooms are continuously produced over the season. Dianthus make great additions to bed and borders displays as well as hanging baskets and will look stunning paired with other cool-season flowers in contrasting shades.
