Product description
An extremely attractive addition to any garden, Dianthus Pink Kisses provides striking colour and fragrance during those warm Summer months. This perennial is extremely eye-catching due to its incredible pink, double-flowering blooms. Each flower bears shades of light and dark pink that, alongside the grey-green evergreen foliage, is the perfect way to complete your garden borders, patios, pots or containers.
Caring for the plant is very simple, as long as you provide a bright, sunny spot of the garden for the plant to sit in. From there, ensure that the soil is kept moist and well-drained throughout, watering it regularly during Summertime. A feed of general fertiliser can also be carried out every 4-6 weeks, and deadheading the plant when necessary to prolong flowering.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may, therefore, differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only - The plant will be supplied in a growers pot.
Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

How to Water
Water Dianthus plants regularly, keeping the soil slightly moist. Avoid overwatering, as they prefer well-drained soil. Water deeply during dry spells, but let the soil dry out between waterings to prevent root rot.
How to Plant
Plant Dianthus in well-drained soil with good sunlight. Space plants 15-30cm apart. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball, place the plant, and fill the hole with soil. Gently firm the soil around the base and water thoroughly.
