Instructions

Top Tip

Remove dead or damaged fronds in early spring to promote fresh growth and maintain the plant’s shape.

How to Water

Water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist, especially during dry periods. Avoid waterlogging, as it can cause root rot. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and regulate soil temperature.

How to Plant

Plant Dryopteris ferns in a shaded or partially shaded area with moist, well-draining soil rich in organic matter. Dig a hole large enough for the root ball, place the plant, and backfill with soil. Space plants about 45-60cm apart. Water thoroughly after planting.
