Instructions

Top Tip

Deadhead spent blooms to extend flowering and encourage new growth. Leave some seed heads for winter interest and to attract wildlife like birds.

How to Water

Water young plants regularly during their first growing season, keeping the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Once established, Echinacea is drought-tolerant and requires minimal watering.

How to Plant

Plant Echinacea in well-drained soil in a sunny location. Dig a hole as deep as the root ball and twice as wide. Place the plant in the hole, backfill with soil, and firm gently. Space plants 30-60cm apart. Water thoroughly after planting to help them settle.
