Carrying large amounts of rounded flower clusters that appear similar to thistles, the Eryngium ‘Magical Blue autumns’ is a variety of Sea Holly with strong, upright stems carrying globes of small, purple-blue flowers throughout the Summer with long, thin, spiky bracts surrounding them from beneath. A compact perennial for drier areas in the garden such as rockeries.
Plant in moisture retentive, well-drained soil and keep in full sun for best results. Water sparingly once established as these become quite drought resistant. Avoid waterlogging, especially in Winter.
