Product description
Add an abundance of bright green, exotic colour to your garden with this wonderful Fargesia murielae. This variety of Fargesia has arching, yellow-green canes that grow to a great height. It is great for hedging or screening and the array of small leaves on show make it an eye-catching feature. The evergreen nature of this Umbrella Bamboo ensures that it will standout all-year-round, maintaining its vibrant colour at all times.
As you begin to care for this plant, make sure you add some well-rooted manure or garden compost so the plant is able to have the best possible start. You should then water regularly, making sure that the plant does not dry out. This is also the case in Winter as the light foliage is prone to wind scorch. As Spring hits, remove weak, damaged or dead canes to encourage fresh and healthy growth for the following season.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may, therefore, differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only - The plant will be supplied in a growers pot.
Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.
