Product description

Originating from Japan and Korea, Fatisia plants have rather exotic looking leaves. 'Spiders Web' is known for its attractive foliage- green palmate leaves that look like they have been dusted with icing sugar. In autumn, the plant produces clusters of small white flowers that are followed by black berries

This plant thrives well in part to full shade and in moist, well drained soil. You can remove any unsightly shoots by pruning lightly in early Spring. The plants are not very hardy, so they will require protection from any cold or drying winds.

Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may, therefore, differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. This plant will be supplied in a grower's pot.

Instructions

Top Tip

Fatsia thrives in shade or partial shade with consistent moisture. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.

How to Water

Water Fatsia regularly to keep the soil consistently moist, especially in dry periods. Avoid overwatering, as they don’t tolerate soggy roots. Ensure proper drainage and adjust watering based on the weather, keeping the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged.

How to Plant

Plant Fatsia in well-draining, moist soil in a location with partial to full shade. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball, place the plant, and fill it with soil. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch around the base to retain moisture.
