Fuchsia 'Mrs Popple' is a deciduous, vigorous, flowering shrub with a bushy and upright habit. Sumptuous scarlet and purple two-toned, bell-like flowers hang from arching stems among slender, deep green leaves. This is a really tough, reliable, single-flowered variety and certainly one of the best hardy Fuchsias that will look fabulous flowering from June to October. It is very versatile and with its contrasting colour palette, it will bring interest added to a mixed border or planted in a good sized container.
It requires a rich, well drained soil with plenty of moisture during the growing season. Plant in full sun or partial shade. To encourage growth, pinch out the growing tips of young plants after the sixth or seventh pair of leaves. Cut back to permanent framework in early spring.
