Product description

Fuchsia ‘Prosperity’ is an attractive variety that is compact and small, perfect for mixed herbaceous borders or hedging. These bushy shrubs grow dwarf up to a maximum height of 0.6 metres, but carry delightful flower colours that are irresistible to bees. They form a pretty distinctive blend with dark green foliage.
These small Fuchsia plants bloom from early summers until autumn. They produce excellent double flowers with crimson coloured tubes and sepals. Their pinkish-white petals have pink veins that add a very decorative feature to the flowers.
These flowers are a source of rich nectar for bees and hummingbirds. Fuchsia grow well in full sun or prefer dappled shade, thriving in well-drained soils. Even though these shrubs are hardy in nature, they need some protection using a mulch layer in winters.
Fuchsia Prosperity are popularly planted for summer bedding schemes. Their upright and compact growth habit makes them very reliable container plants. Pruning faded flowers will encourage newer blooms.
These bushy shrubs demand little care once established, in fact they are relatively easy to grow. Since Fuchsia plants prefer dappled shade, they can be planted in the shady corners of your patio.
Fuchsia is an exceptional flowering bushy-shrub, one that is sure to enrich your garden with brilliance and bloom.

Instructions

Top Tip

Fuchsias thrive in cooler temperatures and partial shade. Avoid placing them in full sun, which can scorch their delicate leaves.

How to Water

Water Fuchsia regularly to keep the soil moist, but not soggy. During hot weather, they may need extra water. Be cautious of overwatering, as it can lead to root rot. Ensure good drainage to prevent standing water around the roots.

How to Plant

Plant Fuchsia in well-draining, slightly acidic soil in a partially shaded spot. Dig a hole large enough for the root ball, place the plant, and backfill with soil, ensuring the crown is level with the surface. Space plants 30-45cm apart for air circulation.
