Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Deadhead bedding plants regularly to encourage continuous blooms and prevent the plants from going to seed too quickly. This keeps your garden vibrant all season long.
How to Water
Water bedding plants deeply after planting, then regularly to keep soil evenly moist, especially during dry periods. Avoid overwatering, as this can lead to root rot. Water in the morning to allow leaves to dry and reduce the risk of fungal diseases.
How to Plant
Choose an area of good light with well-drained soil to loosen. Mix in compost for nutrients. Space plants evenly to allow growth. Gently remove plants from their packs, place in holes at the same depth as in the container, backfill with soil, and water thoroughly.
