Top Tip
Gazanias close their blooms in dull weather, so plant in full sun for the best show. Deadhead regularly to extend the flowering season and maintain a neat, colourful display. Perfect for hot, dry spots where other bedding plants may struggle.
How to Water
Water regularly while establishing, then reduce frequency. Gazanias are drought-tolerant and prefer slightly dry soil, so avoid overwatering. In containers, ensure good drainage and water only when the top layer feels dry to keep roots healthy and flowers vibrant.
How to Plant
Plant Gazania bedding plants in well-drained, sandy or loamy soil in a warm, sunny spot. These compact, spreading plants are ideal for borders, containers, or rockeries, providing vibrant, daisy-like blooms. Space plants 20–25cm apart to allow them to form low-growing mats of colour.
