Geum ‘Flames of Passion’ is a hardy variety of this compact, clump-forming perennial bringing rich colour to the garden all through the Summer. Bright green leaves sit beneath tall, dark purple stems which carry semi-double pink-red flowers with overlapping petals, giving them a frilly appearance. These flowers will bloom all through the Summer months and into the early Autumn.
Plant in moist, well-drained soil and keep in full sun. A very hardy and low maintenance plant. Be wary of overly damp or waterlogged soil in the Winter as this can damage the plant.

How to Water
Water Geum regularly, keeping the soil moist but not soggy. Once established, they are somewhat drought-tolerant, but they perform best with consistent moisture. Avoid wetting the foliage to prevent fungal diseases.
How to Plant
Plant Geum in well-drained, fertile soil with good sunlight or partial shade. Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball, place the plant, and backfill with soil. Space plants 30-45cm apart. Water thoroughly after planting.
