Its large mid-green leaves turn dramatic shades of red and yellow for awesome autumn colour. After the last of the leaves have autumnen, yellow flowers cover the bare branches. These bright flowers are highly fragrant and offer plenty of winter interest.
Hamamelis Arnold Promise is easy to grow and look after. It prefers moist, well-draining, slightly acid soil and a spot in full sun or partial shade. Witch Hazel is hardy to British winter temperatures and provides a burst of cheerfulness in the greyest months of the year.
