Product description
In this herb mix, you will receive a selection of three fresh herb plants which will be chosen at random, and carefully packed by a member of our team. Since your herb plants will be chosen at random, this is an excellent choice if you’re keen on starting a herb garden but aren’t quite sure where to start.
Herbs can be grown indoors, on a sunny windowsill, or outdoors, in a sunny and sheltered environment. Herbs are fabulous kitchen plants, which will not only add colour to the kitchen, but the aromatic foliage has so many different culinary uses.
Despite this herb collection being selected at random, there is no denying the endless culinary uses for each of them. Herbs are great for adding flavour to meats and roasts, pasta, sauces, and rice dishes, whilst some herbs (like rosemary and basil) are fabulous in cocktails and other drinks! Why not set yourself the challenge of cooking a new dish with your herbs?
Fresh herbs are a perfect addition to kitchens for any keen chefs, as well as those hoping to challenge themselves in the kitchen. They are also incredibly easy to grow and care for, producing beautifully aromatic foliage, and some herbs even produce delicate summer flowers.
Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.
