Product description
Heucherella ‘Buttered Rum’ is a gorgeous mound-forming perennial with rich, caramel tinted foliage. The deeply lobed, maple-like leaves will gradually change colour to a deep scarlet as the weather gets colder.
In late spring into summer, you will see upright clusters of tiny, bell-shaped white flowers, standing out against the rich red woven tapestry of the plant’s fronds.

Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Heucherella benefits from mulching around the base to retain moisture and keep roots cool during hot weather.
How to Water
Water Heucherella regularly to keep the soil moist, especially during dry spells. Be careful not to overwater, as they prefer slightly drier conditions than soggy soil. Water at the base to avoid leaf rot.
How to Plant
Plant Heucherella in well-drained, slightly acidic soil in a location with partial to full shade. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball, place the plant in, and cover with soil, ensuring the crown is level with the ground. Space plants 30-45cm apart.
