Lonicera caerulea edulis is a productive Honeyberry plant that is very easy to grow. The Honey Bee variety produces sweet, blue berries which hold very well on the bush. A great addition to the fruit plant corner in your garden with their berries best enjoyed fresh, frozen or juiced.
Plant in moist, well-drained sandy, loamy or clay soil. The Honeyberry plant does need a good exposure to sunlight and it definitely does not fruit so well in the shade. Ensure that the soil remains moist but not overly wet, particularly after planting.
