Product description
The hosta ‘June’ or Plantain Lily is a compact, clump-forming herbaceous perennial shrub and usually found in partially shaded woodland areas at the feet of trees or in thick groups, creating effective groundcover. It is a low-growing plant with large, ovate grey-green leaves with cream variegation. In the late Summer, trumpet-shaped pale purple or lavender flowers emerge on stalks standing tall above the foliage.
Plant in moist, fertile, well-drained soil. Keep in partial sun and maintain shelter from the harsher elements such as cold winds and frost.

Garden Plant Size Guide
Plants in larger pots can be multiple years older than their smaller counterparts with more mature root systems and foliage. This makes them able to thrive as a full size plant in your garden quicker than smaller alternatives.
The most common size of pot that garden plants come in are 9cm/1L/3L/5L this is in reference to the diameter at the top of the pot.
9cm potted plants still remain the most popular cost effective option though, they just may take a little patience to allow them to grow into full maturity once planted in your garden.

Top Tip
Hostas thrive in shady areas and are great for adding texture to garden beds. Consider using mulch to keep the soil moist and protect the roots.
How to Water
Water Hostas regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. They prefer damp, shady areas, especially during dry spells. Avoid overhead watering to prevent disease.
How to Plant
Plant Hostas in well-drained, rich, and moist soil in partial to full shade. Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball, place the plant, and cover with soil. Space them about 45-60cm apart for growth.
